Polyline Industries Powers Sustainability with 300.44 kWp Solar Rooftop System Through SolX Technologies’ REM

Manila, August 2025 – Polyline Industries Inc., a trusted manufacturer of uPVC and HDPE pipes and fittings, has taken a major step toward sustainable industrial operations through the successful deployment of a 300.44 kWp rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) system. The project was executed via SolX Technologies’ Renewable Energy Marketplace (REM), with Net Solar PH winning the competitive bid to implement the solution.

SolX’s REM is a platform that connects businesses with top-tier Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) companies through a transparent bidding process. This ensures clients receive competitive pricing and high-quality service tailored to their energy goals. Net Solar PH, represented by Mylene Mandaig, Director of Commercial Operations and Contracts, led the implementation, with system turnover completed in August 2025.

The installation is projected to offset 30–40% of Polyline’s electricity consumption, delivering long-term savings and environmental benefits. Impact estimates include 6.6 million kilograms of CO₂ emissions avoided, 2.25 million kilograms of coal saved, and the environmental equivalent of planting 96,800 trees.

Beyond Solar Procurement In addition to its solar investment, Polyline has strengthened its energy strategy with the implementation of Smart Energy Monitoring (SEM) and a comprehensive Energy Efficiency Audit at its Dela Paz and Pinagbuhatan facilities. These efforts are designed to ensure full compliance with Republic Act 11285 (Energy Efficiency and Conservation Act) while enabling the company to optimize energy use and improve long-term performance.

The SEM system delivers real-time visibility into electricity consumption, enabling faster identification of inefficiencies and actionable improvements. The Energy Audit was conducted by Certified Energy Auditor Rocky Archieta and completed on August 30, 2024. SolX also supported the preparation and submission of Polyline’s annual DOE reportorial requirements.

“Polyline Industries continues to demonstrate leadership in energy transformation,” said Rocky Archieta, Certified Energy Auditor. “By combining regulatory compliance, monitoring technology, and renewable integration, they are setting a strong example for Philippine manufacturers committed to sustainable growth.”
